AXA Updates Web Site Security Measures 

A large financial services product distributor is trying to beef up protections against online fraud.

AXA Distributors L.L.C., New York, an arm of AXA S.A., Paris, says the AXAdistributors.com Web site soon will offer notices for each registered representative that provide an e-mail record for each of a rep’s client-related transactions.

AXA Distributors also is setting up a mechanism that will permit firms to determine what types of information individual reps can view, and it is adding an e-mail subscriptions tool that gives reps the ability to receive notices about product updates and money manager changes.
