Aetna Introduces Individual And Family Products In Carolinas 

A large health insurer has extended its product line in North Carolina and South Carolina.

Aetna Inc., Hartford, will start selling Aetna Advantage Plan products for individuals and families living in the Carolinas May 15.

The product line, which will be sold directly by Aetna and through independent agents and brokers, includes several preferred provider organization plans, high-deductible health plans compatible with health savings accounts, a hospital plan and an optional dental PPO plan.

Each Aetna Advantage Plan is also available on a child-only basis.
