MetLife Creates Claim Management System 

A large insurer has come up with software that can accelerate the process of processing disability insurance claims.

The new Disability Process Automation system can prioritize and allocate claim processing work, and it can identify the claims professional who should handle the next step on a claim even when a specific claims professional is not available, according to MetLife Inc., New York.
