Erie Family Life Insurance Company has hired a unit of Perot Systems Corp. to administer its life and annuity products on the Perot LifeSys policy administration system.
TAG, a unit of Perot, Plano, Texas, will manage policy issue and policy management services for active and closed policies, and Erie Family will continue to handle sales, claims adjudication, underwriting and actuarial duties, according to Erie Family.
Erie Family is part of the Erie Insurance Group, Erie, Pa.
Perot and Erie Family are not saying how much Erie Family is paying for the Perot support services, but Perot says the contract will last for more than 1 year.
