Torchmark Sub Offers Sales Contracts 

American Income Life Insurance Company says it wants to sign up about 1,000 people for “contracted sales and sales management positions.”

Compensation for individuals who hold the positions is performance-based, according to American Income Life, Columbus, Ohio, a unit of Torchmark Corp., McKinney, Texas.

American Income Life will hold a job fair at 6 p.m. Nov. 17, at the Sheraton Suites at 1201 Hutchinson Ave., Columbus, to talk about its distribution network.

American Income Life sells final expense whole life insurance, term life insurance and other products, such as critical illness insurance, through in-home meetings with moderate-income consumers.
