Settlement Groups End Euro Mission 

Opening in London, with stops in Luxembourg and Zurich, the 4-day event included “open, frank, and forward-looking discussions” by U.S. life settlement experts and European investors, according to a statement from LISA, Orlando, Fla.

“Investors understand that the potential for future growth is extraordinary but must be tempered by wise regulatory policies and best practices on both sides of the pond,” commented Doug Head, LISA executive director. “The trade mission raised this key awareness, and it’s now our job to drive the point home in our respective governing bodies.”

The mission drew an opening London crowd of 150, according to LISA.

  • It would be nice to know of any valid projections as to the present / near future condition of the Life Settlement market. The quote in itself from Doug Head seems to only address future compliance.
