 Video Explains New Federal Health Laws

A benefits technology firm has produced a high-definition video that explains the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and PPACA’s sister, the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act.

The new laws – components of a package that the federal government calls the Affordable Care Act – are making rapid changes in group health plan features such as rescission rules, medical loss ratios and annual and lifetime benefits maximums.

Benefitfocus.com Inc., Charleston, S.C., is making its new ACA video available for free on its website, along with a quiz viewers can use to test their knowledge after they watch the video.
