Wellness Program Offers Assessments, Coaching

SHPS Inc. has come out with a product aimed at large and midsize employers that want to keep employees healthy.

SHPS, Louisville, Ky., says its new Carewise Personal Wellness Program delivers a wide variety of services through one unified package, rather than through a combination of programs in what amount to isolated silos.

The main components are a health assessment and screening service; a collection of Web-based health education content, health promotion tools and health tracking tools; and a personalized health coaching program that offers users the ability to speak to live human beings over the telephone.
