The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. has developed a new long term disability group policy for medical practices with as few as 3 professionals.
The policy can provide an income stream of up to $15,000 a month. It also includes 2 new standard benefits that can protect a physician’s earnings from a progressive disability, such as arthritis, or from the loss of sight or a limb, according to Hartford, Simsbury, Conn.
Hartford
is selling the policy through its Hartford Life and Accident Insurance Company subsidiary.
