An annuity manufacturer has come out with an investment service for retirement savers.

Symetra Financial Corp., Bellevue, Wash., says its new Customized Retirement Income Model service can match individual lifestyle preferences with a mix of annuity and investment products, to help purchasers generate the right amount of income during each 5-year phase of retirement.
