Hub Acquires Benefits Firm Assets

A large insurance broker has scooped up a West Coast broker.

Hub International Ltd., Chicago, says a California subsidiary has acquired the assets of Nett & Champion Insurance Services, Santa Barbara, Calif., for a price that was not disclosed.

Nett & Champion sells employee benefits and other insurance products.

Gary Nett and Michael Champion, the owners, will go to work in the existing HUB California office in Santa Barbara, Hub says.
