Assurant Health has added TelaDoc Inc. to its provider network.
Assurant Health, Milwaukee, a unit of Assurant Inc., New York, sells health insurance to individuals, families and small groups.
TelaDoc, Dallas, sells consultations with board-certified, licensed, primary care doctors through the telephone.
Assurant Health will offer TelaDoc access to new clients in some states starting July 26.
Assurant Health plans to expand access to the program in the future, the company says.
