Term Series Policies Can Last Till Age 105

Subsidiaries of AEGON N.V. have come out with new Trendsetter Super Series term life policies.

Transamerica Occidental Life Insurance Company, Los Angeles, and Transamerica Financial Life Insurance Company, Purchase, N.Y., units of AEGON, The Hague Netherlands, say rates for some older policies may be as much as 50% lower than the rates for purchasers of the older Trendsetter policies.

Customers can get 20-year level-term policies up till age 70, and those policies could be renewed through age 105, the company says.

The policies offer level-premium terms of 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years, along with a yearly renewable term option.

To meet specific objectives, customers can buy multiple policies, Transamerica says.

Transamerica Occidental and Transamerica Financial are responsible for backing the product guarantees.
